In my first two years with Atkore, I have been lucky enough to be exposed to many of the company’s top executives, learn about strategic initiatives, and gain understanding of why leadership makes the decisions it does.  The transparency around decision-making and straight-forward logic that it follows is really refreshing.  This reflects the core values that have become such a large part of my career, but also my personal life.  Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence (ATIRE) is, as cleverly intended, something that employees at Atkore wear every day.  It feels genuine with my colleagues.  We all row in the same direction and work towards common goals that will help the company in more ways than just business performance.  Initiatives towards safety, diversity & inclusion, and personal development are all treated with the same focus and resources as meeting profitability targets.  It doesn’t feel forced.  There is so much genuine enthusiasm around improving and maintaining a sustainable work culture.  Much of the credit goes to leadership, but this also speaks to the type of people that are recruited to join Atkore.  My colleagues may bring different sets of skill and knowledge, but everyone is consistently a high-integrity, hard-working, and passionate individual.

Abigail Campbell
After graduating with my degree in mechanical engineering, I did not have a clear picture of the type of work I wanted to do, what process I wanted to focus on. For this reason, I was excited by the Atkore Leadership Development Program, as it allowed for the exploration of different processes and products. I have greatly enjoyed and grown from the multitude of experiences I have had in my time at Atkore, from project management to working on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team. One thing that I enjoy highlighting about Atkore is the value they place in their employee’s voices, as I have been able to have a "seat at the table" for many teams across the company, and have been involved in critical operational and social decisions.
