Enhancing our energy efficiency capabilities is a key focus for Atkore, and we are committed to improving energy performance across our facilities. As part of this commitment, many Atkore sites participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Actions implemented across our operations include deploying energy management software solutions, installing electrochemical motor lubrication systems, converting and monitoring DC motors, installing LED lighting, and upgrading compressed air systems, chillers, and cooling towers to drive efficiency. Multiple sites utilize energy management systems for machinery, allowing us to monitor equipment energy usage and performance. These capabilities enable sustainability-informed decisions related to production scheduling, machine utilization, and equipment replacement.

In addition, we implement green building and operational practices where feasible. The distribution warehouse connected to our largest manufacturing facility in Harvey, Illinois is LEED Gold certified. At our Phoenix site, solar canopies with EV charging stations have been installed. Several European sites have also implemented solar panels, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and employee bike-to-work initiatives to help reduce overall energy consumption.

Our internal energy initiatives, standardized energy management systems, and site-level tracking tools allow us to monitor energy use and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
