Introducing Konkore Fittings and the Debut of the Universal Super Fitting™
|

Atkore International launched a new fittings line in August of 2016. Konkore Fittings features a huge breadth of fittings, fast response, and quick delivery times. With more than 1500 SKUs and numerous proprietary labor saving fittings, Konkore Fittings is the one-stop shop for all the electrical fittings needed for multiple installation methods.
Also available is the brand new Universal Super Fitting™ 3-piece coupling product range, which connects GRC, IMC and EMT (2-1/2″ to 4″) and eliminates field threading to speed installation, while saving labor and space on the job site. With no need to inventory 3-piece couplings, users also reduce material costs and improve inventory turn. The Universal Super Fitting 3 Piece Coupling is a revolutionary breakthrough that allows us to now be able to turn the coupling and use it in tight spaces where-as other coupling conduit does not have that ease of use. The benefits of the Universal Super Fitting are demonstrated in this video.

Earning Our Marks: A Critical Part of the Atkore Mission
|

Conformity Assessment is a critical foundation component of the Atkore mission statement and its successful implementation. Many of our product lines are required to comply with a product standard that is used in building or other installation codes in North America.
This system allows for the safe and effective use of our products. As processes change and new and improved products are developed, Conformity Assessment provides the direction and assurance that Atkore products will meet or exceed the requirements for safe installations.

Conflict Minerals: Reporting as a Public Company
|
Three years ago, as a privately held company, Atkore International adopted and implemented a conflict minerals policy to certify that our suppliers don’t use Conflict Minerals (minerals deemed to be financing conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country). Publicly traded companies are required to file a specialized disclosure report on an annual basis.
On June 10th 2016 Atkore International made its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange officially becoming a public company. Due to the policies and processes already being in place, the only significant change going public has had on this process is that the final report is submitted to the SEC.
This is just another great example of the advance work which has been done to prepare Atkore for its place as a public company.
