Unistrut’s President opens new warehouses and offices in Australia on Park Avenue

In October Steve Elsdon, President of Unistrut International Corporation, visited the Australian business to officially open their new facility in the APAC region.

This new Unistrut premises is located at 26 Park Avenue, Woodville North near Adelaide in the state of South Australia and replaces the old premises in Wingfield, South Australia, giving the business much more scope to enable growth, having been developed and purposely structured to include greater warehouse and office space than the old buildings.

This new plant will support the growing business in the APAC market and better help Unistrut to serve customers in some of the more remote regions of the Australian continent.

The location was selected because it is close to a very mature manufacturing/industrial area and within easy access to all freight corridors (Road, Rail and Sea).  This makes the location ideal as with more products now being supplied from Unistrut Changshu plant, the site needed to be suitable to handling shipping containers from China and have good interstate freight access.

The facility at Woodville North has a total land area of approx 5,000m2 made up of:

780m2 of internal warehouse

150m2 of 1st floor mezzanine

150m2 of upgraded offices and boardroom
