Allied Razor Ribbon Completes Specially Designed RDU Unit for International Customer

Allied Tube & Conduit’s Razor Ribbon division recently completed a specially designed RDU unit for international use. The design was completed for 20 Rapid Deployment (RDU) units with trailers in a process that took approximately six months to complete.

The partnership began with an international contingent traveling to the Allied Razor Ribbon manufacturing facility in Hebron, Ohio to meet with the Allied team, see the production process and witness first-hand the actual deployment of an Allied RDU unit.  Allied partnered with trailer manufacturer, Spirit of America, who produced a specially designed trailer to deploy the RDU units to the specifications needed by the international company.

Carmen Samara, Allied Razor Ribbon Sales Manager spearheaded the project and commented, “Allied was fortunate enough to be chosen for this project  because of our flexibility in manufacturing, product knowledge and how quickly we were able to adapt to meet the customer’s requirements and needs”.

Samara was quick to point out that teamwork made this vision a reality. Samara stated, “Every member of our team contributed to make this project go. From our plant manager, Brian Morris who displayed flexibility in manufacturing to our inside sales/customer service rep, Tammy Wills who kept open the lines of communications with our customer and to our Hebron production staff for their product knowledge and input, everyone contributed to make this a win-win for both the customer and Allied”.
